The pad is very light. This innovative technology also allows to make a chamois of more thicknesses and densities without creating stiff steps that could cause trouble when sweating, remaining instead very elastic, soft and dry. The foam is highly breathable and elastic and in the meantime very tear-resistant. Transpiration is also ensured by the fact that there isn't the use of glue: fabric and foams are laminated with flame heating.
