1. It is not appropriate to rest immediately. During strenuous exercise, a person’s heartbeat speeds up, muscles and capillaries expand, and blood flow speeds up. At the same time, the rhythmic contraction of muscles will squeeze the small veins, prompting blood to flow back to the heart quickly. At this time, if you stop and rest immediately, the rhythmic contraction of the muscles will also stop. The large amount of blood that originally flowed into the muscles cannot flow back to the heart through the muscle contraction, resulting in a decrease in blood pressure, temporary brain ischemia, and cause palpitation, shortness of breath, and dizziness. Symptoms such as dizziness, pale complexion and even shock and fainting. Therefore, after strenuous exercise, you should continue to do some small exercises, and then stop and rest after breathing and heartbeat are basically normal.
 
2. It is not advisable to take a bath immediately. In order to keep the body temperature constant after strenuous exercise, the blood vessels on the surface of the skin expand, the sweat holes are opened, and the perspiration increases to facilitate heat dissipation. At this time, if you take a bath in a cold water bath, the blood vessels will contract immediately due to sudden stimulation of the blood circulation, and the heart and lungs will be burdened. If the body’s resistance is increased and the body’s resistance is reduced, people are prone to get sick. Taking a hot bath will continue to increase the blood flow in the skin. Excessive blood flows into the muscles and skin, resulting in insufficient blood supply to the heart and brain. Dizziness, collapse and shock in severe cases can easily induce other chronic diseases. Therefore, after strenuous exercise, be sure to rest for a while before taking a bath.
 
3. Binge drinking is not suitable. When thirsty after strenuous exercise, some people drink boiled water or other beverages, which will increase the gastrointestinal burden and dilute the gastric juice, which not only reduces the sterilization effect of gastric juice, but also hinders the digestion of food. Drinking water too fast will also increase the blood volume too fast, which will suddenly increase the burden on the heart, causing temporary disturbances of electrolytes such as potassium and sodium in the body, and even heart failure, heart congestion, abdominal distension, etc., so do not overdo it too fast after exercise. Drinking water, not to mention cold drinks, otherwise it will affect the distribution of body temperature and cause colds, abdominal pain or other diseases.
 
Fourth, it is not advisable to eat a lot of sugar. Some people feel comfortable to eat some sweets or sugar water after strenuous exercise. They think that eating more sweets after exercise is good. In fact, eating too much sweets after exercise will consume a lot of vitamin B1 in the body, and people will feel tired and appetite. Lack of vibration, etc., affect the recovery of physical strength. Therefore, after strenuous exercise, it is best to eat more foods containing vitamin B1 such as vegetables, liver, eggs, etc., if you love to eat sweets after exercise, you should eat more vegetables and other foods.
 
5. It is not advisable to drink alcohol immediately. After strenuous exercise, people's body functions will be at a high level. Drinking at this time will make the body absorb alcohol more quickly and enter the bloodstream, and the damage to the liver, stomach and other organs will be more than usual. This can cause fatty liver, cirrhosis, gastritis, gastric ulcer, dementia and other diseases for a long time. Drinking beer after exercise is not good either. It will increase the uric acid in the blood drastically, cause great irritation of the joints, cause inflammation, and cause gout and so on.
 
6. It is not advisable to smoke immediately. Smoking after exercise is due to the accelerated metabolism of the human body and the various organs in the body are in a high-level working state, which causes a large amount of smoke to enter the body. After exercise, the body needs a large amount of oxygen but is not satisfied, and is more susceptible to carbon monoxide, nicotine and other substances. At this time, smoking is more harmful to you than usual. At the same time, poor oxygen absorption also affects the body's recovery process after exercise, and people are more likely to feel tired.
